God does not want His people to remain ignorant.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...”

Yet how we obtain knowledge can be just as important as what we know.
Knowledge gathered outside of relationship can quietly become a foundation of independence. It may increase our ability while separating us from our need for God and one another. Such knowledge rises like the tower of Babel, where men said, “Let us make us a name” (Genesis 11:4, KJV). It builds upward, but it does not draw us nearer to God.
Knowledge received through relationship builds something entirely different. It is like the walls of Jerusalem, where every man laboured beside another until “all the wall was joined together” (Nehemiah 4:6, KJV). No stone stood alone, and no stone existed to rise above the others. Each found its strength and purpose by being joined to the whole.
God often uses the Holy Spirit in others to point us back to His Word. His Word awakens our hearts to His presence. As we see more of God through the windows of one another’s lives, our unity is strengthened, and we become “an holy temple in the Lord” (Ephesians 2:21, KJV), a vessel prepared for His glory.
AI can be a useful tool. It may become an extension of our hands, helping us search, organize, and communicate. But it must never become an extension of our heart or a substitute for the spiritual relationships through which God shapes our minds.
The question is not merely, “What can AI help me know?”
The deeper question is, “What am I trying to build?”
If you desire to make a name for yourself and rise above others, AI can help you build another Babel. But if you desire to become part of a vessel that reveals the glory of God, the questions of your heart must still lead you toward God, His Word, and His people.
AI may help us gather knowledge, but only God can teach us how that knowledge should be joined together in love.
